Thanksgiving:  How I lost 5 pounds and how you can too!

We all know the Holidays.  Time of travel, fun and weight gain. To eliminate the weight gain, all you need to do is add about eight glasses of water and about five small meals that contain protein.  The added small meals rev up your metabolism and the water helps to fill you up.  This works really well.  Try to work out, add in some yoga and some scenic walks.
I have found, that as you get older, the more you need to move and eat.  Stay away from pumpkin pies and sugar.  But pumpkin is very healthy.
Try this pumpkin pie smoothie:
1/2 cup pure pumpkin puree
1 large banana
8 ice cubes
6 oz vanilla yogurt  * Greek has more protein.
cinnamon 1/2 tsp
1 tsp agave nectar or honey to taste
3 Tsp Almond Milk
12 almonds for protein ( mix in or eat with)
This takes less than 5 minutes and serves one adult.  Happy Holidays and 2018 will bring you to a great start!
