It is 2014, have you seen your dermatologist this year? It is a good idea to see one every year.
More than a decade ago, I was running in Santa Monica and a dermatologist saw a melanoma on my back near my bikini line. He pulled me over and told me to see him or my own dermatologist immediately! I called my dermatologist in the morning and had surgery on Stage Three Melanoma the next day. The guy saved my life!
If you notice any changes to a mole or a freckle, go see your dermatologist ASAP! It sounds crazy, but you can actually die from a stupid freckle. I know, I almost did.
