I have been taking and teaching yoga for years!  I was working at Paramount Pictures at the time and my friend dragged me to my first class on the Lot.  I did not like it.  I was a runner.  Our teacher said, I needed to try it three times per week for two weeks.  If I still did not like it, then yoga was not for me.  I gave it a chance, and it changed my life.  That was back in the 1990's.  I started YogaForce in 1995 and people thought I was nuts.  "What is YOGA?"  I said it was what Movie Stars do to stay in shape.

The 31 Flavors of YOGA

I just read REBEL YOGA about Tara Stiles in the New York Times  today and she ROCKS!  And she can because there are now many flavors of yoga.  Baskin-Robbins had a famous 31 now it boasts well over 1000 flavors... So goes yoga.  When I started YogaForce in 1995, people only had "friends" who did yoga.  Now the number of yoga practitioners is well over 15 million in America alone.  To each his own.

Sex And The City And YogaForce

I remember chatting with Patricia Field. She was really fun on the phone. I was in LA and she was in NYC. I called her up when she was working for SEX AND THE CITY on HBO years ago. I wanted my YogaForce Clothes on her new show. The girls did yoga and she bought YogaForce Athletic Gear Clothes from me. She loved the fact that I had colorful clothes. She liked the names of my colors: BLUE SKY, RED DAWN, TEAL HURRICANE, MINT TWILIGHT, BLUE SKY, RAIN, YELLOW SUN and PINK CLOUD. She said, "That is so fresh." I liked her. She was cool!
