OK, so I teach yoga and I am getting certified for Pilates and I have an adorable puppy. I love to hike and walk and do yoga. Madison Avenue likes all of the above too. She naturally does a down dog immediately followed by a half-assed up dog EVERY morning as soon as she wakes up. She wakes up precisely at 8 am, no matter what. She is the most lovable, high energy, bossy, spoiled little brat imaginable. We do yoga together on our YogaForce A-Line Mats, and she LOVES it! She is calm and focused; but only two times a day: at 8 am and at 11 pm. So what the hell was I thinking when I decided to teach DOGA on TV!?!! Fortunately enough for me, I have friends who own good low key dogs! But during the 10 minutes that we shoot, will they mind? They are dogs! Madison will be there to stir things up. She is rather bad and bossy.
I met Helen Fielding after she wrote BRIDGET JONES DIARY. I was so into that book and when I met her at a party in Beverly Hills, I was startled. I told her " I AM Bridget Jones! " Because I was relatively thin at the time, she said "Annie, it is just your personality that is v. Bridget. She seems to have hit a cord." That was right before the movie deal hit. Maybe, it is good just to try new things no matter how whacky they may appear at the time. We shall see.
